Julian Ildau Tarmo

LaneOPX Intern

LaneOPX Intern Julian Ildau Tarmo assists the LaneOPX team with research and design of Lean materials for the LaneOPX Resource Library. Julian will also work closely with LaneOPX’s CEO and Business Development Manager to assist with company projects and business development. He also oversees LaneOPX programs that are geared towards helping youth transition to post-high school life, such as excelling at university and/or joining the professional workforce. 

Julian is a sophomore at San Marcos High School, where he serves as the Sophomore Class Vice President. Alongside his running mate (the Class President), Julian oversees all ASB events and events related to the class of 2023, including the daunting task of transitioning the coming year’s social events and fundraisers to online-based events. He finds ASB an excellent opportunity to improve his communication, organization, and project management skills. 

Julian also is a member of the SMHS football team (#13, wide receiver and safety) and track and field team (100 and 200-meter sprints). He enjoys sports for the community and camaraderie they bring, and he credits the experiences with helping him and his teammates grow into responsible young adults. 

Julian currently holds a 4.0 GPA and is most enthused by Science, Math, and Business-related curriculum. At the moment he has his sights set on several East Coast universities and is interested in pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Physics. He hopes to combine his love of science and business in his future career.
