Loren Tarmo utilizes his acumen in finance and his deep involvement in operations to provide LaneOPX with concrete business and finance approaches that guide strategy, finance needs, and risk mitigation. Loren’s wide-ranging advisory services provides LaneOPX with insight for its clients around financial reporting & analysis, accounting, risk mitigation and compliance, contracting and pricing strategies, human resources, audits, taxes, and budgeting and forecasting.

Through his finance and operations expertise, Loren provides LaneOPX guidance for its clients and their management teams the opportunity to view their enterprise with transparency and therefore make data-driven decisions and improvements. Loren has established key financial and operational metrics––such as monthly operational dashboards for management and the board––in order to quantify improvements that are used for resource allocation justification. In order to meet an enterprise’s needs, Loren has consistently supported the fundraising processes for capital, particularly for private equity-backed firms. He has additionally led the turnarounds of two companies via changes in businesses models and customer and cost rationalization.

Loren’s ability to provide such flexible solutions stems from his extensive experience in both operations and finance. Loren has served as the CFO, VP of Finance, Director of Accounting, and Corporate Controller for various industries including healthcare software, manufacturing, and biotech, ranging from pre-revenue to over $300MM in revenue. Loren began his career as an auditor in public accounting. Through these roles, Loren gained a deep understanding of the intricacies of business operations, the drivers to increasing enterprise value, and the inter and intra dependencies of the various functional areas.

Loren holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Sciences from the University of California, Irvine and a Master of Science in Accountancy from the University of Illinois at Urbana, Champaign. He also completed the Strategic Business Executive Program at the University of Chicago. Loren maintains an active CPA license.
